Honestly this is all getting really confusing for me!

Some people tell me 'no emoticons', then others say 'they are fine go ahead don't mind those people saying no emoticons'

then someone says 'please do use emoticons so I can recognize it is really you' and I think 'ok I have been told no emoticons but I will just use Belgian gull as my namethen so you can still know its me' and now that is a no no.

(Also this is really the only thread I have even used the name and even post in, so I'm really not prancing around everywhere...)

I'm trying to get the hang of the rules and board culture but please understand that its really hard when everyone is really saying the opposite!

so ok no emoticons and no name using, all anonymous, then do I have to go 'this is Belgian gull' in really all my posts? That would be really the same as using the name instead of Anonymous?? I'm just confused sorry

I will go read the rules page or something, I admit I haven't done that yet
