They're the two highest-achieving cosplayers the UK has ever produced. They've been in every major international cosplay contest, representing the UK at ECG and WCS, they've won and judged all over the place, they've gotten industry jobs out of it and they are so well regarded in their construction quality that the likes of Yaya Han and Svetlana Quindt go to them for advice.

Your friends probably haven't talked about them because either your friends are as new and clueless as you or because there's not much to say about Lex and Sands other than they're both exceptionally good. Nobody hates them so nobody shittalks them.
