extremely pale? go for it and yes dye those brows, it generally looks better.
if you went for a pastel purple it'd probably look washed out. Otherwise it'll compliment your eyes.
And if your friends cant give you supportive advice on something YOU want to do with YOUR hair, then their opinion should be excluded in this situation.
