If you do ever become interested in doing more with your eyes, you may want to check out makeup glasses. It's one lense that can rotate so if you're doing your right eye you can still get magnified vision with your left.

I've never tried these and idk how much help they'd be for the almost legally blind but I thought I'd share anyway.
