So true about Manic Panic. I'm still using their colors but don't go by their samples. Purple Haze turned out far bluer than expected so I've stuck to mixing it with hot hot pink to get the color I want for the past few months (dark magenta).

Also while I'm not unhappy with my results w/MP...I'm wondering if I should try Directions or SFX since I always hear about how much better they are...
