Fantasy Kei
>inspired by JRPG character designs
>some grade of zettai ryouiki (short skirt/shorts paired with thigh-highs and/or thigh-high boots)
>capes, cloaks, corsets, detached sleeves, fingerless gloves and hoods - all acceptable
>can range from relatively tame to thotty, and from casual to OTT
>accessories would be based on usual JRPG props like weapons or potions (so, chokers or rings with a sword charm, necklaces with potion charms, a bag with a sword design, etc etc), as well as jewelry, especially fancier jewelry than usual (eg forehead gems wouldn't be out of the question)
>lots of leeway in color use and execution
>somewhat different executions for different character types (priest/healer/mage style would consist mostly of light, flowy material and religious/magical motifs/accessories, thief style would consist of a more urban/"delinquent" oriented style with lots of zippers, short shorts, small jackets, hoods/cloaks, bared midriff, etc, warrior style would include more armor-inspired clothing and capes, etc)
I couldn't decide what image to use, so I just put together pic related to give an idea of what the silhouette would be (Sword Art Online and .hack have good inspo material too). Casual/standard outfits would simply keep in with the silhouette, with maybe a few accessories here and there, while OTT outfits would go all out and include detailed headwear, fancy capes, feathered jackets, more belts/zippers, more elaborate jewelry, crazier color combinations, temporary tattoos, etc.
I spent more time than I'd like to admit thinking about this, to be honest.
