BUT grown ass adults who are not pedophiles have recognized that its still a very young age and one can be damaged mentaly by acts of sexual conduct from an older person. AKA "corruption of minors".
The middle ground parental thing is the reason why we still get shojo mangas with young leads and older romaceable characters(tuxedo mask), but it has to be a relationship without sexual conduct.
