This post summarizes my "feels." Every time I visit /cgl/ it's a reminder that the cosplay community is 1. overwhelmingly female and 2. pretty hostile towards males.

Back when you were all 9 years old and dressing up as pretty princesses, there were plenty of 9 year old boys dressing up as cowboys - some of us even had real, genuine leather chaps and boots and proper felt cowboy hats, because we begged for them at Christmas time.
