Should I go to Ohayocon? I have some friends who want to go, there's an easy cosplay for me to execute, and it's not hard to get there, but the last time I went to see what it was like (which meant walking around outside the pay area for about an hour on the first day), I was hit with an ungodly wave of hideous odor that could only be described as basement sweat and shame. Has anyone else who has been to the event, perhaps multiple times, noticed such a thing, or was it a freak occurrence? My friends who were there with me (the same who want me to go this year) insist that they never noticed a thing, but I know for a fact that the most vocal advocate has no ability to detect bad smells at all. I don't really care about con events but I dig the camaraderie and the acting, so I don't exactly dislike cons, I just had a horrible experience with Ohayocon and don't know if I really want to pre-order a weekend pass just to end up in smell hell again.
