Some people just can't lose weight no matter what they do, and if they DO manage to lose weight, 9/10 times they gain it right back. It's been scientifically proven that long-term weight loss is unrealistic, so fat people should just learn to love their bodies because they're pretty much stuck with them for life. So why should we be forced to only cosplay fat characters, especially when there are so few of them out there and perhaps there are none that we particularly like? Cosplay is about dressing up as your FAVORITE characters, not just characters who look like you. It's about as stupid as saying PoC can't cosplay white characters. You all whine about attention whores dressing as characters they don't care about or aren't familiar with, yet you expect fat people to do just that. It's bullshit.

That being said, I don't think weight matters at all when it comes to looking good in cosplay. I think, rather than looking at someone's body type you should be looking at craftsmanship instead. There are tons of scrawny anorexic bitches that have mediocre, inaccurate cosplays, why do they deserve more praise than me if my cosplay happens to be very well-made and accurate?

Pic related. Have a plus size cosplayer who is cosplaying outside her body type, yet still looks damn beautiful. I think a lot of the skinny bitches on this board are just jealous that fat chicks are often better cosplayers than they are. XD
