I agree with them, though.
cgl and especially HSG has this habit of calling every single ftm that isn't really manly a "fake transboi".
While there are of course people who do it for "the attention" it NEVER is that easy. It is more often than not more confusion than desire for attention. Of course, the desire for uniqueness can be in the bottom of it, but I honestly doubt if any of these "fake transbois" said to themselves "oh, I'm going to claim to belong to a different gender so people will give me attention".

I have said this before, and I will say it again.
Cosplay is one of THE best platforms for experimenting with your identity, and homestuck ESPECIALLY is because of the equal number of male/female characters, which all are reasonably easy to cosplay. You can try on a lot of different identities, and some will simply feel more right than others.

Imagine a girl who has been forced by society into a narrow female role, she might always have felt like it was wrong for her but never cared to elaborate on it. And then for a few hours she experiences being "John" instead. And while it might not be the perfect fit for her either chances are she will feel much freer simply because of the change.
The female role is a narrow one, and if you don't feel like you fullfill it you might not feel like a real girl. And in that case it might be easier to identify yourself as a guy instead. This might also be why a lot of these "fake transbois"aren't usually that masculine, they aren't aiming to look masculine but rather to feel more comfortable with themselves.

In a lot of cases it will be a phase for these people to find themselves, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't respect that, just because their identification is temporary doesn't make it less real. Because YOU have no right to tell them they are wrong in how they make this journey. If they aren't actually trans they will realize that rather soon.

I am sick to death of you and your "Fake Transbois", HSGCGL.
