I mean, it's possible to wear "formal" looking coords that are still casual; they just look formal/fancy from a normie perspective, if nothing else. Pic related is my go-to OP for comfortable-but-nice coords, I usually wear it for first impression meetings or when I'm feeling lazy, and I have many others like it because I wear lolita daily.
I get the point you're trying to make but unlike the unfortunate reputation it somehow developed over the years, casual lolita ≠ sloppy. Or at least, it doesn't HAVE to be sloppy.

Related, my own confession: I get unreasonably salty whenever I see girls with bad coords tagging their shit "casual lolita" so they can get away with dressing like garbage without getting concrit. Thanks for giving daily lolita a bad name, please fuck off and be ita somewhere else.
