I'm worried that dark eye makeup would be too feminine though? I'm not really a fan of excessive eye makeup in crossplay.

As for the costume, I'm making a men's yukata from the red fabric in pic related and the obi in the cream/tan, plus I plan on appliquéing the white oval shapes on his wings onto the sleeves and across the back. I have the geta he wears and will wear dark tan tabi socks similar to the color of his feet (and lighter tan pants/undershirt though those probably won't show too much). Of course I'm making his necklace, and am considering making a white neck corset thing akin to Koujaku's to account for the white on Beni's neck/the bottom of his face. Sorry that was kind of wordy, haha.

huh, I didn't know that existed! I was planning on going a little closer to the bird's in-game appearance and making a men's yukata out of the red fabric/obi out of the cream/tan, and appliquéing on the white ovals across the back/sleeves like they are on his wings. plus the necklace, geta, etc. wig/makeup something along the lines of >>7490841 but hopefully better executed/styled than that.

that art is pretty sick, though.
