it's definitely this for me (not OP here). it's the same reason I don't like things such as ERP guilds in mmos and the "fan" discords that seem to exist just to trade porn. I don't have a problem with sexuality and sexual content, but I don't want it to be the center of the community and I don't want to be mocked for not taking part in that.

It adds this layer of :^) haha we're all pervs here lol and people just roll with it.
