>Do you watch anime?
Every now and then. I'm mostly into Jojo atm, though more into the manga than the anime.
>Do you like "lolita-esque" anime or anime that has "lolita" characters on it?
I liked ParaKiss and Kuragehime, that's about it for lolita-esque series that I've watched.
>Did anime or manga influence you at any point as a lolita? (example: wanting to look like Miwako or taking influences from Magical Girls)
I wear classic so most anime "lolitas" don't really appeal to me but I loved Anne of Green Gables (pic related) as a kid and the books and series are definitely some of my sources of inspiration for lolita.
>Why do you think anime never gets lolita fashion right?
Because of artistic freedom, I guess. Could be because the artists aim to portray an aesthetic that they (or their fans) find pleasing regardless of whether it's accurate to what the fashion is truly like or not.
