My bf attends events with me because of my own social anxieties and discomfort with being out alone in lolita. It's more of a me problem than him, but it really helps. I slowly try going out alone little by little in lolita, but until then I kinda need his support or I'll get uncomfortably nervous and wanna go back home. I'm lucky to have a boyfriend who'd willingly give up hours of his free time to support my hobby when he could be doing his own hobbies.
