Have you watched it recently? It had very little episodes where he interacted with FP while dating. And they're no longer dating; she decided she didn't want to be surrounded by liars and befriended Cinnamonbun and took over the Fire Kingdom.

That's an opinion. I like it the way it is now, where it expands upon the characters and the land.

Went on the wiki. Seven counted episodes that dealt with FP and Finn being together, in the span of two entire seasons. That's like, forty episodes altogether, if not more. Don't feel like counting.
