No more than any other social club. The biggest problem is that people confuse Pennsic for an SCA event... It is the Cooper family's event, featuring an SCA war. At one time, it was even featured in a swingers magazine because some douche thought it was an easy lay vacation (he was proven wrong).

It was originally founded as an SCA event, but every year it moves closer and closer to the eventual end as a high-end renfest. There is still a long standing bounty of elf ears and vampire fangs.
