Even assuming they get a voice cast that is as good as the original (which is doubtful, Koyasu-Dio and Sugita-Joseph have got to be some of the best voice acting jobs I have heard in ANY language,) you still have to deal with the issue of localizing names in a way that won't get them sued, but don't sound silly, piss off fans, OR piss off Araki.

it's kind of my opinion that characters that have a real delinquent, bombastic way of speaking never really translate well to an English dub - English VAs can never seem to muster up the intensity required of some characters. I mean, go look at the english dub of like, TTGL. Its really not bad, but the acting just lacks the excitement of the Japanese. And I'm PRETTY SURE in an english dub of Jojo, that problem would be huge with Joseph.
