Well I wanted to make more than one in case it gets banged up. Is there a good place to buy pink plexiglass?

The idea is the handle is PVC and I'm running a UV LED and battery on the inside and putting it into the guard/blade which will be transparent. I've seen one made of pink acrylic that was pretty cool, but fuck if I find a place to buy it some. Do have a saw that could cut it though if you have any ideas on a source for plexiglass or acrylic sheets that isn't like a giant 100 dollar white board.

That is what I was thinking about doing, but I don't know if the silicon halves will pull apart if they are going in a hole, assuming the seem is along the side of the blade. Unless the seam wasn't along the side of the blade, but rather between the guard and blade though that may be hard to do.

The hole could be up to 2in, the guard is thick. Blade is about 23in long. Maybe I should just fuck lighting up the prop with it being for first really complex piece and make it a solid transparent resin piece.

Or I could frost the outside with a piece of sandpaper and stick the UV light in a glove. Or make the whole hilt opaque. This makes my brain hurt.
