I've had to be a closet weeb all my life because of normie expectations from my parents growing up. I've had very few weeb things I could do.
>had to go to friend's houses to watch anime
>never got to cosplay for anything, family didn't even celebrate halloween
>missed out on so much manga and anime over the years
>very few in friend group who even knew about weeb stuff
>hid a few vocaloid and anime OP songs on my ipod

Now I'm in a position where I'll never be able to truly express this weebness that's been hidden for so long.
>4 year serious relationship
>back living with parents because didn't make enough to support myself and significant other
>still want to cosplay
>still want to buy figma
>still want a daki
>constantly downloading anime with little time to watch it
>missing out on next closest convention because gf wants a trip back to homestate to see friends

My only time to break free is the little anime club I attend at uni. That is the highlight of my week.
