I've seen underskirts look fine with them. Sadly, I don't have any examples. But a tip I can give you is to try and match the fabric. If the dress is made out of chiffon, get a chiffon underskirt. So on and so forth.

In addition, I believe Cadney is 5'9" and looks great. Chokelate is also pretty tall and looks good, too. Pic related, Cadney.

Do you wear tights? Just get some from target. Wool tights are fine, too.

Hm. Maybe try getting a long sleeve blouse and converting it into a puffy 3/4 blouse?
