Since it hasn't been said yet, I'm saying it now. "I'm too old for X thing" means your interests have changed, you're bored with that hobby, you feel there's nothing new to gain from it anymore, the like. It's NOT some pants-on-head-retarded rule, dictating when you're no longer allowed to like something just because you're past an arbitrary age. The only things you can learn from this is how to follow a script (read: autism), to deny yourself what you really want (read: cowardice) and a self-righteous need to bully people into submission (read: a stick up your ass). And of course these are all highly valued traits among people involved in whatever "big boy" hobbies you've used to fill the void.
