Only when it's obviously fake/looks like a wig. I personally think natural (especially dark) hair looks best with fairy kei, but there's something lovely about pastel throughout the outfit. Flat colors though, like a harsh blue or neon green, don't work well to me. Even just bright pink I find bad.
