Any recommendations about cutting kimonos up to make onepieces? I got a few pieces that are stained beyond help, was thinking of cutting them up to make into dresses but I don't really know where to start.

I found this person who made a dress out of her kimono and she talks about never washing the dress again. I'll be starting with cotton fabric at least, but now I wonder if the Mirufu pieces are washable as well.
