*sigh* okay, Homestuck does have very simple characters to cosplay but this one of the biggest cases where it looks shit unless you ACTUALLY pull the character off (like Joey over here, he focuses on being as canon and close to the characters he cosplays as possible.) My peeve is seeing people generalise Homestuck cosplay by saying it's ALL bad and simple but I've seen some really great ancestor costumes, that shit isn't simple at all so sit down and shut up kids.
