I'm Canadian but some people get so easily offended by anything remotely religious. I've gotten some especially obvious sjw tumblrinas approach me while I was at a night market type event vending some of my shitty jewelry with religious themes. One just came up to my table and took my business card and made audible scoffing noises and sneering at me saying "Do you honestly think this is okay? Making disrespectful gore out of christian art?" I'm just like, "That's the sacred heart. A prominent image in catholicism. You'll find it in churches and cathedrals all over the world." Xe walked away after that. Still clutching the business card. Probably to go show the rest of xer friends so they can circlejerk about how offended they are later. A lot of people just seem to get so offended over something they aren't even knowledgeable about or even invested in.
