I always pose when someone wants a picture.

I think it really adds to the character when you do something besides stand straight. And some people don't even do that. Show off that costume!!

>Do you often suggest a pose or even go so far as to offer a better place for someone to take the photo?
I will do both of these, but I will always ask first. 9/10 times, the shot just won't come out well due to lighting, and other things. Or sometimes the pose doesn't really help show off the costume or what makes the cosplayer look so good.
