I've mentioned to him before about wearing ouji with me and he's said that he would think about it for a con or something, so I'm hoping we can do matching coords at some point!

Ad I've grown older, my dad has been becoming more and more supportive. The first year I started cosplaying (God I hope no one ever finds those pictures) he was confused and made a bunch of cringe jokes about how much of a dork I was. This year he actually help build part of my armour and told me he was proud of all my hard work. Feels good man.

Thanks for the crit! I've actually done that with Mozarabic chant - it looked really unbalanced, but perhaps it's due to the relative washed out-ness of the blouse. Maybe here it would work better since the piece itself has very strong colors.

Not to try to sound defensive, but these shoes actually look really fancy IRL, but I think I get what you mean. Should I be looking for footwear with more detailing? Any suggestions for footwear?

Haha, I actually make my own headdresses for my coordinates. I think it's fairly easy to make, but it's very time consuming. I can understand the pricing.

If you want tutorials or anything I could dig some out. You really just need wire, filigree, pearls, and other assorted beads.

Thank you. It would actually be easier for me to make the headdress in antique bronze - most of my findings are antique bronze so I wouldn't have to go on a shopping spree.

Looks like we got lucky with the weather, should be no showers, just clouds and sunshine this weekend!

I don't know about you guys, but I always feel really happy whenever someone recognizes my cosplay and likes it enough to want a picture with me. And I've never really had a bad experience with that, really.
