Made a lot of parts, components, props, etc. but never a full piece like this and thought it would be a good, simple costume to learn.

However, it turns out I'm retarded at trying to get the subtlety of the shape down. Done some studies and a few scale patterns, but can't get it.

Anyone have any pointers for doing large stuff like this in foam?
