Most larps I know don't allow over 25. And a faulty arrow should be a non issue, as projectiles like that should be inspected before the game by an official. One shouldn't purposefully aim for the face or neck either, but once its out of the bow, all bets are off. The games that I have been in have never been a problem.

Quit being a pussy, or play a game where you throw beanbags while holding a foam covered unstrung bow if you're that worried.
