So I decided I wanted to put together a Mettaton costume, and I just wanted to ask for some advice from those who already made one.

How did you handle the shoulder pads? I think I have an idea for how I'll handle everything else, but that's the one thing I'm not quite clear on what I'll do.

Thought part of me is considering giving up on this already, because as much as I like Mettaton, I'm afraid he's going to be the most overdone. Should I do that instead?
