And of course I do love the works of the insanely popular Yamano Ayane, Takanaga Hinako, and Nekota Yonezu (Black-haired Maya will forever be the hottest dude for me.), but mostly excluding Nekota (because the way she writes male characters is amazing) I’m generally a little iffy about why I like them since they include a lot of shitty tropes (like rape). So in that case it’s really a guilty pleasure. I believe all tropes have a place but it’s good to keep a level discussion about why romanticizing certain actions can create harmful stereotypes and culture.

I would feel really lonely if I didn’t have anyone to discuss with so I totally get it, even discussing on the internet is not really the same thing. Perhaps there should be a blog, tumblr, fb-group for these type of discussions but I have no idea how to keep it on a level I like and not have it go into “OMG YAOIZ” level immediately.
