>Just getting into lolita, parents hate it and won't buy me anything
>Decide to make myself a head-eating bow to wear to school
>Have never seen a head eating bow irl and can barely sew
>Make this weird stuffed triangular thing out of an old uniform with ugly lace edging and wear it to school
>Called to the dean's office during first period
>"Anon, why are you wearing toy cat ears to school? Those are not acceptable school wear"
>"It's meant to be a bow..."
>"Sure kid."
>She confiscated my bow
>Complained to friends at lunch
>"That thing was meant to be a BOW?"
>Friends also thought they were cat ears

And that was how my first attempt at anything lolita made me look like an even bigger weeb than I actually was.
