Anyone who has ever said any of the following unironically:

>lol I'm basically x character in real life all my friends say I'm just like them
>but I NEEED to do this cosplay, I can buy food next week/retake exams/call in sick/get a new job/pay rent later
>You can't cosplay x character, I've already cosplayed them!
>Your cosplay's alright, but (small detail) is off. Mine is WAY BETTER (GIVE ME ATTENTION NOW)

And the ultimate, supreme peeve for me:

>I am basically this character in canon, I should be the only person allowed to cosplay them because I look just like them and act just like them and sound just like them!

Bonus hatred points points for
>i basically/actually own their design
>one of the creators of the character liked a picture i posted years ago, therefore meaning I am the only person allowed to even think about that character
>They're a headmate/alter/other gender identity so cosplaying them is a personal attack on me

I have seen various combinations of all of the above. People like this are why I'm slowly falling away from this community
