Is anyone else getting tired of cosplay?

For me it's not because I'm getting older (though I'm 24 now, so maybe that partly is it) but cosplay seems to be becoming more and more, well, pornographic to be honest. An anon the other day described cosplay as "basically soft pornography at this point".

I've cosplayed characters with skimpy outfits before, but it seems to be being taken to extremes these days, and by more and more people to the point that the entire focus of the con is on sex, hooking up, doing drugs and getting drunk.

As far as I can remember, there was always that element, but it didn't dominate what the con was about until now.

I also blame the fact I find it hard to get along with other girls, but I think that's more anciliary.
