Is it me or are there significantly more itas on this board than in the past? /cgl/ used to arguably be the best place for learning about lolita, but over the years it's seemed to become filled with people who don't know what they're talking about, and think they're great lolitas and ready to be giving advice after hardly any time in the fashion.

I don't really get a "casual" vibe from the second picture. It's just a normal coord. Not OTT but "casual"? Maybe it's because I associate casual with things that also look more casual (no prints, more solid colours) but there is nothing that screams "casual" to me.

I don't have anything against OTT but I really hate this trend of labeling anything that's not OTT as "casual" or "ita" or "not a great outift because she isn't wearing 3 wigs, twelve different hair accessoires, five necklaces, $500 burando OTT complete set and 3 rings on each finger!!!" Today, there's either OTT and anything ese gets labeled as "casual" or "not trying hard enough". Can we please stop with this?

I'd shoop myself to hell and back but it's always so easy to spot when something's been edited and yet I can't help wanting that, idk, dreamy dolly look like you see with the photos from Japanese Lolita's blogs, but I also don't want to look like I'm trying to hard.

Apart from that, do any of you use any particular programs, apps, filters?
