Many four-legged mammals have this bone on their back legs. On the pictured cat, I circled what I'm talking about. I don't know the exact name of the bone, I think it's the calcaneus or something.
They were attempting to pull off that, sense they're dressed as a fox and a cat. I can see it, but it also does look strange.
