/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

This is probably a silly question, but how on earth do you wear a rectangle headdress? I know, on your head, but it keeps sliding off and just doesn't feel secure.
As well as that, is there a certain way to tie them? I tried trying under my chin, but there's miles of ribbon left over and it's just messy and awkward. I read somewhere that tying it to the back is an option to, but needless to day, that's a no-go and a tangle mess waiting to happen.

This is the headdress I have, and it looks fine if I hold it in place, so it's most likely just my cack-handedness making it look weird.. I'm hoping to wear it in the next week, so all help would be appreciated!
