/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

With the way you're talking and how combative you are being, also with the particular question you're asking, I don't think you will find what you are looking for here! Running in with your hypothesis and basically asking /cgl/ to prove you wrong is guaranteed to start stupid flamewars, not get answers. /cgl/ is constantly angry AND constantly trolled by /r9k/ and /fit/ so this entire board is a mess of trolling. Also I don't think you entirely "get" cosplay as PROPERLY done by not-Japan. It isn't about looking "better than" glorious 2d, it's about showing your interpretations of what 2d might look like if it were 3d. Not better, just different. It's like fanart but instead of drawing it you're wearing it, and you don't often expect fanart even from pixiv to look better than the original, right?

Don't mind me too much though, because I'm a JoJo trip and I've almost always been known to be a fan of cosplay, and JoJo cosplay in particular is known for being physically impossible to get exactly the same as original 2D.

Go check out curecos.com or acparadise.com or worldcosplay.net, or look at some of the top cosplay on deviantart (yes really) if you want to see some really good stuff.
