>Very shy around people I'm not comfortable with, otherwise I'm generally outgoing.
>Shit sux since this makes it really hard for me to make new friends at cons
>Keep seeing this really good Natsu cosplayer around the convention center
>On my way back to hotel room, see him by the elevator
>"I...I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna ask for a picture!"
>Ask for his picture, he poses. Finally just drop my spaghetti "I really like your Natsu cosplay!"
>No really, it's amazing. He's ripped, has contacts, honestly the best Natsu cosplay I've ever seen to this day.
>Guy is so nice. "Thanks! Do you like Fairy Tail?"
>Have a long conversation with him about Fairy Tail. I'm the only one out of my friend group who reads it so it's nice.
>Natsu tells me that they're having a meetup for Fairy Tail cosplayers and such later that night. They were all going to hang out and talk about the manga, maybe order some food. "You should come! I'd really enjoy having you there."
>My face is so red. Tell him "I'll see you later!"
>Meet up with friends in hotel room. "Anon! We're going to the Homestuck meetup come with us!!"
>I have no idea what homestuck is. They drag me there to see.
>Wind up being a wallflower as everyone there is either wasted or underaged, everything's inside jokes and memes.
>It's getting late...
>Spot Fairy Tail meetup across the room.
>It's small, just a circle of cosplayers sitting there seeming to have a good time. They're all mellow.
>Friend sees me looking at them. "Anon! There's that Natsu cosplayer over there! You should go over and hang out with them! I know you're not really having fun with us. Go make some friends!"
>See the Natsu looking around from time to time.
>I'm too shy to go over there.
>Never see him again.

I'd kill to see that guy again he was so nice to me. Misc. Natsu cosplayer, if you are out there, please know that you were the highlight of the last convention I have ever gone to. Thank you for being so nice to me.
