I'm no hardcore lifestyler but I'm considered one by my comm.
>how does lolita affect your everyday life?
Not at all, actually. On days where I can't be bothered or it's impractical to go all out I just plop on a simple but cute outfit and put my hair in a simple updo. I have several pettis that are small enough that I don't knock stuff over but give my skirts enough volume to not look sad.
As for activities, hobbies and taste in music, I've always been more reserved and into classically feminine hobbies. I don't pick my activities or tastes based on how lolita they are but based on whether I like them, and that seems to match up most of the time.

I'm still working on the home decor, and am mostly limited by my boyfriend's tastes and frugality at this point. Fortunately we both like antique-looking furniture but I'm never going to be able to convince him to have a pretty pink princess bedroom with frilly bedsheets. Our apartment belongs to both of us, and I don't want him to feel uncomfortable in it.
When it comes to stuff that only affects me, though, I go all out. I'm currently working on a full-sized frilly apron to protect my clothes when I'm doing chores around the house. The only person likely to see me in it is the postman and he probably thinks I'm a weirdo anyway.

Hermm....I've always worn them without the ankle straps because that makes my legs look stumpy.

You dropped your picture, brah.
>Lol barely. What is it? Like an inch? And you really think the straps help? I don't, they cut off your ankles.
