Man, I love this jsk and I want it in black. I wonder how well the front ribbon lacing holds up; they look so thin here and I'd hate for them to get easily damaged even though I'm a small boobed girl.

The things that make a great co-ord pretty much stay the same, regardless of the brand - if the cut is decent, the material quality is acceptable with an attractive design, then you can make a nice outfit with it. As far as making a nice outfit with a nice/decent dress goes, it usually comes down to attention to detail (no sloppy styling or being half-assed) and being able to match pattern and color. Another tip is, if the dress is slightly cheap/mid-range looking, go for smart, sophisticated looking accessories for a more polished look - BL dress in pic very related.
