She kind of made her own grave with the shop. She didn't market herself very well, she expected to charge brand prices for her work at the outset, she alienated people with her lolita secret outburst and subsequent refusal to address criticisms from customers about the quality/appearance of items on the website versus in person, etc.

She expected people in the lolita community to act like people in the rockabilly/vintage fashion community, when they're two very separate beasts.
