Not an artist, but things I remember from ACEN I really liked/noticed:

>Everyone went for grab bags
>There was someone selling leggings - it was freaking amazing
>Fleece scarves sold better than fleece hats by a mile.
>The people with the cellphone plugs for phones that didn't have places for cellphone charms gave them away for free with the charms they sold. I think it made people want to buy those cellphone charms a lot more
>People sold Homestuck. No one I noticed gave them shit for it.
>People who made custom buttons (i.e. paper commissions for a button) had more traffic in general.
>Someone was giving away free balloon animals. They got a lot of traffic to their table because of it.
>Something that was cool were 3D standups of characters


Things I noticed that were "In":
>Sherlock
>Doctor Who
>Game of Thrones
>Bioshock Infinite

I'm sure there are more but whenever I saw "SOLD OUT" prints they were usually related to those.

Also:
>Pokemon clay badge sets
>Chainmail
>those pixel things

Was also super popular.
