The only thing "loserish" about me growing up was my weaboo interests. I was only bullied when I was younger because I had severe social anxiety (this was when I was in like kindergarden-3rd/4th grade. Way before I even knew what anime was), and I outgrew that. Anything else was just young girls being catty for no reason, which I finally realized in highschool, was because I was prettier than them and my best friend was a tall, good looking guy.

Ironically, both of us looked super normalfaggy. My guy friend had so many girls all over him because he didn't look like South Philly trash, and he would sooner die than let anyone know he was a huge weaboo. I was in charge of the homecoming committe, and was on a bunch of sports teams, so the only people who gave me shit were bratty freshmen girls who I made run extra laps at practice, and the catty girls who were throwing themselves at my guy friend.

My entire highschool experience was spent hiding my powerlevel, and when I got to college, I made a lot of good friends who had the same interests because that's around the age everyone figures out how to dress and behave themselves.

I may have been a bit of a loser back in the beginning of middle school when I discovered anime and manga, but my survival instincts kicked in early. I was a loser in highschool, but I hid it so well.

I always get shit when I'm in the hardware store and it doesn't phase me? I do all of the home repairs for my parents since we're poorfags, so I've been to Home Depot and Lowes plenty of times and get treated like an autist, but that's kind of to be expected?

I just make sure I'm polite to them and usually ask where whatever I need is since it tends to make the workers feel like they were helpful (and then I don't have to waste time reading the isle signs).

I don't ask the young workers for opinions on any products though since I've found most of them don't even know what I'm talking about. But still, there's no need to be rude. You should always treat others how you want to be treated and all that! There isn't really a need to be so vicious to workers who are only doing their job.

And honestly, I look like a dumb blonde stereotype. But I just like to look cute when I'm out and about.
