/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Very first dress, so I'm a bit lost. I'd like to stick with the red from the bows and browns to keep it more toned-down rather than sweet, but I don't really know where to begin or even where to look.
I'm also stuck on a blouse. The stripes and border print are definitely more of a cream or an ivory (compared to the white of the little flowers) so I don't know how strange a white blouse would look with this. If you guys can help me out I'd appreciate it.
I'm not scared to shop on Taobao, but I also don't think I have all that much to order so it'd be a little silly to buy from there, maybe? I don't know, I'm open to anything really.
