Lonely goth update: Was at a party with one of the most dedicated gothic lolitas I know this weekend. Closet full of Moitie dedicated. While our music tastes came up in conversation before, she's developed a new hunger for 80's goodness and it came up naturally in conversation. She asked for recommendations and I was allowed to hook up my spotify to her bluetooth. A whole bunch of new life was breathed into the winding down party. It sparked random conversations by dudes into retro music in general, people who didn't realise certain songs were goth, and familiar tracks that almost everyone knew the words to. There was some light dancing, and I invited them to join me at a big dark eighties night later this month. It's finally gonna happen, anons.
