/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

>How long have you been in the jfashion or cosplay scene?
I've lurked for over 7 years but this year and the last is when I've become truly involved with my local lolita/cosplay community

>What area have you improved the most in?
Probably realizing that "just because it's brand does't mean you look great" (re: 2010, that was an AP JSK and Btssb purse... I thought I was very ~loli~)

>What role has /cgl/ played in your improvement so far?
Probably teaching me how to use taobao/other shopping services and making me realize that I need to be able to not only take criticism and use it to improve but to also not take that criticism too seriously as well, that sometimes you just gotta close your internet browser and not think so much about everything

>What weak point(s) do you want to work on next?
Instead of impulse buying something because it's cheap, readily available right this minute, and "might" be my size and instead save up and get something custom sized for example or be more patient in waiting for a piece I really love and that's really special. Not really a weak point but as a goal, I would really like to put together at least one gothic and one classic co-ordinate sometime next year. Right now my wardrobe looks like pastel AP vomit a la 2009.
