It sold on mercari recently for 5000 yen but that's way less than what it usually goes for in the western market (and less than usual for the Japanese one, I've seen that series go for 14k yen or more). It's extremely popular and iconic because of >>9560460 and another picture of it being in fyeahlolita's oldschool posts, exposing a wide range of people to it.

However, I think the bright red is least coveted of all that velveteen series. Black, wine and navy would all be more popular, I've never seen anyone express a deep desire for the red, but I've seen popular colourways like the green go for $150+ on LM IIRC.
